Seems like there was a change of plans in how I’m buying Hakua Ugetsu’s WORKS Flamboyant artbook. Yesasia unfortunately was unable to find any copies but luckily, amazon.co.jp restocked it instead! So I ordered the book from amazon.co.jp rather than yesasia… plus also getting 新世紀エヴァンゲリオン画集 : DIE STERNE. It’s another $35 down the drain, but one has just got to love Yoshiyuki Sadamoto’s style.

Now that I think about it, Yoshiyuki Sadamoto and Hakua Ugetsu along with Oh! Great and Yoshitaka Amano are some of my favorite artists. Actually, almost anything I pick up I usually like the artist’s style but those four are probably the cream of the crop in my opinion. Unfortunately, they’re also expensive picks if one wants to collect some of their artwork in book form (esp Yoshitaka Amano’s). ^_^;;

All I can say is thank god I’m working some extra hours or there’ll be no way in hell I could have afforded the artbooks (actually, I’m not too sure considering everything else I have on pre-order)!

… crap, AIR LE DVD 4 is out on pre-order from CDJapan. Oi…

Arrivals I

The start of my crazy spending from this month finally bares fruit. Today installment of “Anime goods Moy should not have ordered since he cannot pay for them yet did anyway” presents images of Arina Tanemura Collection - Full Moon wo Sagashite, Mai-HiME Anime Book - 2nd Semester, and Mai-HiME コミックアンソロジー IDコミックス DNAメディアコミックス.

One has to love amazon.co.jp cheap shipping. Average of nine days from time of order to delivery! <3

All in all, not bad buys. Loved the artwork from the Arina Tanemura Collection - Full Moon wo Sagashite artbook probably the best out of the three (then again, it’s like comparing apples and oranges). If only I had a good scanner…

Also good news is that my shipments from amazon.co.jp and CDJapan have just been sent! Hopefully by the time I’m done with finals, the shipments of AIR DVD LE 1-2, Tenjo Tenge Vol 13, and Tenjo TengexPinky:st Aya Natsume figure will have arrived!

Am I proud of what I bought? Hell no as I don’t have the money to readily pay it off. However, I have been dying to get Hakua Ugetsu’s WORKS Flamboyant artbook and finding out yesasia had it for a decent price really made my day! Hakua Ugetsu’s art style is just too good for words… I must have fell in love with it after seeing his designs for Bakuretsu Tenshi.

… and if I want to make myself feel a bit better about spending, I just have to look at Satoshi’s recent purchases. Good job on going the band-wagon my friend! hehehe
