TRSI has some fast free shipping, let me tell you! Received the shipping notices on Friday and got my packages today! I must have gotten a lot of love either from TRSI or the post office to receive my goodies this fast this time around. Not that I’m complaining, mind you

Honestly, the DVD purchases were semi-blind buys. I watched World of Narue when it initially aired and didn’t think much about it. Now, years later and more anime obsessed than ever, I decided to pick up the collection during TRSI’s CPM studo sale. Why? Apparently because Mamiko Noto voices the main female character. Yes, 22USD goes down the drain simply because of fanboyism (again).

Slightly different reasons for Utena though, as I’ve heard it’s an excellent series from various sources. Surprisingly enough I have never watched the series and seeing all the positive reviews, figure I’ll take the dive. Plus being able to pick up the entire series only for 66USD in change wasn’t going to leave me in the poor house (for too long). Funny how I had the 2nd box arrived first since TRSI was out of stock of the 1st, and thus could not watch it until I got the 1st box weeks later (that being now). Now I just have to find some time to actually watch the series!

splash of color

The cracked version of Windows Server 2003 R2 apparently wasn’t as cracked as I thought. The short story is the trial time went up and the crack that I thought “fixed” it didn’t work. Luckily I had dual-boot the laptop with Windows XP Pro, so there wasn’t much of a lost. I just needed to spend a hour or two installing again the usual programs and settings I use.

Now everything is back to being all gravy, including a new wallpaper and visual style

Noble Spend-ism

I guess I should thank Golden Week for the quick delivery of my amazon.co.jp goods. A five day turn around via amazon.co.jp’s “cheap” shipping is something unheard though I wish would happen more often. Normally, it takes anywhere from seven to twenty days to get amazon.co.jp’s package(s) to me.

Now only if money and women would come in that fast…

Mai-Crying Game

Yesterday was a great day for Mai-HiME/Mai-Otome merchandise. Yesterday was also a horrible day for the blackhole that is my bank account. Added to the void that is my collection were the PSP game Mai-Hime Senretsu, Mai-HiME Collection v2.5 from CMS, and Mai-HiME/Otome HGIF 2 from Bandai.

If one has already read my post on the AB forums, one can probably figure out my luck regarding getting the complete sets of the above figures. Seems like my luck is starting to run out. I blame God for this.
