Help!

For those with good ears, were at Otakon ‘06, and/or are jrock listeners I need your help! Does anyone know what song was playing in this short video clip? The clip was taken by one of my coworkers who was at the convention and wanted to know what the song was. Sorry about the clip being short, 11 seconds long, plus it being rather difficult to hear the song but if anyone knows what it is, please let me know!
Whomever knows will have my eternal (read: cheap) friendship and the vast (read: none) moyism resources at their disposal as my way of saying thanks ![]()

Church of Moyism

Credits to post title goes to hung of BasuGasuBakuhatsu Anime Blog and our quick chat in #animenano on IRC, which went as follows:
hung: is moyism a religion? like haruhism?
moyism: sure, why not
hung: and the requirement is to buy lots of shit?
moyism: that’s only for the anime branch of moyism
hung: oh
Yep, I’m planning to make moyism the next greatest religion next to haruhiism!
Anyway, arse load of random packages arrived today. From Columbia House came Samurai Champloo 1-5 and Monty Python & the Holy Grail. Air Gear v1 and Genshiken v6 from TRSI. And Megami Magazine v76 09/06 plus Yours ~ Horibe Hiderou ART WORKS from Amazon JP.
I won’t go into much details why I ordered anything from Columbia House of all places but after much debate and limited anime selection, picked up most of Samurai Champloo for about $14 a piece. I don’t need to mention how awesome the series is so it goes without saying I was bound to pick up the anime one day. For Monty Python & the Holy Grail, it was sort of a random buy though I know it’s suppose to rock on many of levels. Definitely can’t wait to watch it hopefully this weekend!
Parodies of the political standings of the past aside, TRSI pulls through again with my really really long pre-ordered items of various Del Rey manga. Once again I don’t need to mention much about either title, Air Gear and Genshiken, since I’m a fan of both for different reasons. I’m just happy Del Rey picked up Air Gear which means quality work compared to the crap DC is doing for the Tenjo Tenge manga.
Finally, Megami Magazine v76 09/06 plus Yours ~ Horibe Hiderou ART WORKS from Amazon Japan. Too lazy to reason why I bought Yours ~ Horibe Hiderou ART WORKS other than I loved his designs for Interlude and I figured I needed a new artbook anyways. Meanwhile, picked up this month’s issue of Megami thanks to Shingo yet again. Evil I tells you. Also just realized all the photos I took of the pull out posters have already been done (and taken better) by him too
Anyway the magazine is an excellent buy if anything else, for the Fate/Stay Night, School Rumble, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and Zero no Tsukaima posters included. I curse Megami for putting the really good ones back-to-back as you’ll need to buy two copies if you want to hang both sides of the posters

Hottest Ever

I finally left my hikikomori-like lifestyle, at least temporarily, as I ventured into NYC the past weekend all because I have a big fat mouth. Definitely was not one of my smartest moves in life considering it was one of the hottest weekends of the summer! I’m such a genius aren’t I?
