Let’s Rock-n-Rock!

Once again, I hate changing wallpaper since it’s uber hard to find any good 1920×1200 anime related sized ones. Usually I end up cropping or slightly enlarging images I find that can be good wallpapers. The current Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu wallpaper I’m using was done through the later of the two methods. Thankfully it still looks rocking after the resize!

And in other news, I just did something financially stupid. Again.

Oh yes, before I forget, happy birthday to my younger brother Rich who just turned 18! I really should get him something huh? Especially now that I have a job. Crap.

Time Travelin’

Don’t forget that today we set our clocks back a hour tonight. I hope you all don’t waste the extra hour like I’m probably going to do

I don’t know whether to cry tears of joy or sadness but a bunch of deliveries came in this week. TRSI’s Geneon and Bandai sales, GSC’s 1/6 Ryougi Shiki, and Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu DVD 4 made up the purchases that will keep me in the poor house this month and months to come. I swear, moonlighting in the near future may not be such a bad idea the way my recent spending is going.

And before you get too excited about seeing my photos, please note I’m no Danny Choo, tj_han, or super rats. Five year olds can take better photos than I can.

I wonder if it’s good advertising for MangaNEXT that my pre-event-going entry on the convention is one of the top ten results when you google “manganext” (as shown in this screenshot). I guess as long as people checking the link do not click on the next entry, it should be fine. Otherwise… oops.

Faster than a Speeding Bullet

I’ve already ranted to Omni, but finally have fiber optics internet thanks to Verizon FiOS! I’m talking about 20Mbs/5Mbs speeds, which translates into up to 2.5MB/s downloads and 600kb/s uploads! How hot is that?

Don’t think me getting better internet will have any effect for my readers, however, other than I’ll be seeding torrents longer. Well maybe there will be “positive” effect for others. That is, if I ever get the whole “Church of Moyism” sermon through the webcam going…

… hmm may now have a use for haruhiism.com or tsundere.us afterall… O_O

And speaking of potentially embarassing videos, if you’ve never heard of the Emo Rangers, I suggest you check out their video on YouTube ASAP. I found it hilarious at how well they parodied the whole Power Rangers/Sentai genre to a T. And for some reason, their stupid theme song is getting stuck in my head whether I like it or not! D’oh!
