Cutting the Figurine Trim

My figure backlog to “review” which keeps getting bigger and bigger the longer I wait ;_;

Fortunately the great blogging community has already picked up the slack as 90% of the figures I need to take horrible moyism-style photos and do reviews for have already been done! For example Kureha from Shining Wind by super rats, Ayu from Kanon by lu-k, Clalaclan from Shining Wind by Shingo, and Fasalina from Gun X Sword by Shingo all far exceed anything I could ever do so do check their reviews instead. Actually, the only figure I have to review that I haven’t seen anyone take a shot at (yet) is Haruka Suzumiya from Kimi ga Nozomu Eien; although I can understand why after owning her for a few weeks. More on that if I ever get around to reviewing her or any of the above lovelies ^^;;

Church of Moyism Hittin’ the Strip

For my 25th birthday, a bunch of friends and I are going to Las Vegas in November!

3 days of non-stop fun and possible crazy adventures await us all in less than a month! From what we have planned so far, there will be some gambling, go-carting, going to a shooting range, strip club(s), and seeing ”O” by Cirque Du Soleil. And the kicker? We’ve decided to go all out and have rented a Penthouse Suite at the Bellagio as well!

It’s going to be FRICKIN’ LENGENDARY!

WAVE Kousaka Tamaki - Side Dish Included!

Review up in 24 hours. Having trouble trying to write anything remotely sensible for this ^^;;

24 hours, 2 weeks… same difference right? I apologize for the lateness in the review but the past and next couple of weeks are going to be hectic because of work, thus leaving me very little time to do anything for this blog. Hopefully by the beginning of November things will cool down but for now, expect my already sporadic posting to be even more so. Sorry!

If there’s one thing I can say about WAVE’s Kousaka Tamaki from To Heart 2, it would have to be it definitely has one unique type of packaging for it. I don’t have any photos of the box Tamaki came in posted here, but it has to be one of the flattest box I’ve ever received a figure in!

Subaru: Microsoft’s Zune Ad Girl

Well, not really. In reality, I finally got my Zune 30GIG MP3 Player from woot that I mentioned about a few weeks ago and decided to name it “Subaru” from Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS. Mostly because I like naming my random tech crap after anime characters, I chose Subaru since I wanted to name something from the series plus the white version of Zune I got vaguely reminded me of the white-black battle gear the girls wear. I was initially going to go with “Nanoha” for the obvious iPod nano joke but dropped that idea after I realized I already have one of my laptops named as such; “Fate” was an idea but kind of boring for me (although the character herself frickin’ rocks).
