December Hiatus

I’ll be in Wisconsin until mid-December due to work so expect little to no updates from me til then. This of course, includes no new raws from my one-man RAW group [moyism] as well.

Still not totally clear on my living arrangements and while I’ll have internet due to the nature of my job, don’t know if I’ll even have the time to keep up with the series I’m watching now. I can only hope so or else I’m going to have at least a two week backlog when I get back ^^;;

And while I said expect no updates, hopefully I’ll have some time to at least post about my on-goings in Wisconsin. If anything, expect me to complain a lot about the weather due to it being a lot colder there than here in NJ. Dang, where is a kotatsu when you need one!?

The Women of Moyashimon

Best. EPISODE. EVER.

Mecha, fighting, yuri, cosplay, S&M, drunks, and yaoi are all jam packed in episode 8 of Moyashimon to make it one of the best episodes of anime this week, if not the season thus far! Screenshots after the jump… I’ll leave what actually happened up to your imagination.

8. What is mine is mine and what is yours is mine as well, including the kendo club when my arse is on the line.

Kidnemo Black Friday Sale (3 for 2)

I’ll make this post quick; Kidnemo is currently having a “Black Friday” sale from now until the end of November where when you buy any 3 in stock figures, you get the lowest priced one for free!

Even though I’m broke beyond broke, there was just no way I could pass up since a juicy deal. Pretty much spent the better part of a hour this morning going through their inventory selecting figures I was interested in, narrowed down the choices until I ordered the following:

- Max Factory’s Dead or Alive: Kasumi White Variant
- Orchid Seed’s Fantaz Moon Eclipse by TYPE-MOON
- Good Smile Company’s Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha A’s: Nanoha Takamachi

Total was $186 after S&H, which wasn’t too bad considering the cost of each figure (Nanoha was my freebie). If there ever was a time you wanted some particular figures but were waiting, now is the perfect opportunity to score a good deal on ‘em (if available)!

And if you’re still on the fence about it, do know I was highly tempted to place a second order but my financial conscious eventually got the better of me

Minorin’s Message 01

There’s nothing like some dessert to finish off a Slapsgiving Thanksgiving dinner, and what better dessert is there for Minori Chihara fans other than the news of Minorin’s “Message 01″ DVD site going live! If one has not checked it out yet, what are you waiting for? Currently there are four short videos previewing various clips from the DVD, including PVs from Minorin’s recent album released a month ago; all looking pretty nifty. Even if there weren’t any videos, the splash image with Minori alone easily makes the wait all worth it!

Obviously, I’m very psyched about the DVD and visual candy it will bring

EDIT: Seems like this week’s Minami-ke’s web radio is celebrating Minorin’s birthday (November 18th) with a “Minorin Birthday Special” (episode 9 airing on 11/22/07). Listening to it now so I’m not totally positive if it will be anything special or just the usual web radio fare. Should be entertaining either way, plus making it one heck of a day for random Minorin news
