Cutting the Figurine Trim
My figure backlog to “review” which keeps getting bigger and bigger the longer I wait ;_;
Fortunately the great blogging community has already picked up the slack as 90% of the figures I need to take horrible moyism-style photos and do reviews for have already been done! For example Kureha from Shining Wind by super rats, Ayu from Kanon by lu-k, Clalaclan from Shining Wind by Shingo, and Fasalina from Gun X Sword by Shingo all far exceed anything I could ever do so do check their reviews instead. Actually, the only figure I have to review that I haven’t seen anyone take a shot at (yet) is Haruka Suzumiya from Kimi ga Nozomu Eien; although I can understand why after owning her for a few weeks. More on that if I ever get around to reviewing her or any of the above lovelies ^^;;

With my figure backlog, it makes me wonder if it’s really worth doing the reviews anymore. I’m probably better off just taking the photos and posting them up. And damn, everyone seems to get their figures before me.

I didn’t get Haruka. I don’t know, I just couldn’t picture her in a swimsuit like that, but I really should think of her all nice and healthy wearing a swimsuit like a hottie should.

I see that you got Alicia figure as well. If kureha was a 1/6 figure, I’ll definitely get it. After getting the BEAT 1/6 alicia, I find it too big for my liking. the 1/8 GS Alicia is a lot better.
lu-k, I only try to spend my money on the best (or at least the most tempting at the time). And yea, Haruka is alright but I’ll have to admit, is the “weakest” out of the group pictured. I should *hopefully* have a review up by the end of the month. Yes, I’m giving myself plenty of time LOL
Adun, that is true on both accounts. It seems I’m always one of the few that get major figures last. Or if I do get ‘em early, never have the time to take photos and/or do a review. I wish I could just take some photos but compared to everyone else here, I need the review to draw AWAY from ‘em ^^;;

manga, I should really follow in your steps. It would be such a wise financial decision in the short and long run!
super rats, true true. Like I mentioned, she’s okay but nothing to write home about. I think my biggest issue is with how they did her face; looks off to me IMHO.

Fisherman Horizon, yep Alicia is probably the best out of the currently released Aria figures IMHO. And while 1/6 would be great, anything Shining Tears/Wind seems to ROCK no matter the scale size!
Very true, considering all the aria figure released up to now are from Toysworks/BEAT, Goodsmile Alicia is really a lot different and the colouring is better. At least the hair turns out golden in photoshot.
Yup, shinning wind figures have all been captivating and attractive. Though I really like that kureha figure but 1/6…..
Nix looks lovely, I hope the paint job is superb.
