On the DVD itself, if you’re a Mai or Sayuri fan then this volume is a must buy! Containing the ending Mai arc (episodes 13-15), it was great watching some of my favorite episodes in DVD quality on the projector with some good old surround sound action for an evening. Mai’s breakdown and fight scenes were simply kickarse!
Now to hope some US based company will license this series in the near future *cough* ADV *cough*

Meer out of the closet box. Very lovely figure, especially since I picked her up from HLJ at cost (SAL S&H and sale for 25% off the retail price). Now I’m glad I waited on getting the figure when it was first released many moons ago, as getting it now made it much more worth the while. More so since I used my Tax Refund money thus making the figure “free of charge” 
Yes, you’re not seeing triples; I ordered and luckily received my three Haruhis from HLJ this past week. Unfortunately unlike my figurine collecting brethren Vinn, I’m only keeping two of them. The one other goes here once I figure out what kind of contest I want to do. That’s just the kind of (idiotic) guy I am ^^;;
On the figure itself, I have no major complaints other than it took forever to get out of the box and remove all the plastic wrapping. There were a few times I felt I was *this* close to breaking the figure while trying to tear off the plastic. For more photos of Haruhi, I can only recommend the man himself super rats.
Moving on, Revoltech’s G2 Saber is my first humanoid figure out of the four Revoltech figures I currently own. Overall not too bad and as pose-able as one can expect from the Revoltech line. I will have to say, as some may note in my other photos, that I had a hell of a time trying to pose Saber in a “cool” position without it falling. Only finally succeeded this morning, however sad that sounds. For more photos of Saber, TASTE would be the place to go.
The DVDs, as per the recent norm, were thanks to various TRSI studio sales. Ninin Ga Shinobuden v1-4, Mai-HiME v7, and Galaxy Angels Z Complete Collection help to make my already cramp DVD shelves even cramper. I really don’t have much to say about the DVDs I bought, since a majority of fans already know the various series, other than Nana Mizuki playing Shinobu in Ninin Ga Shinobuden is of LOVE and WIN!
Blanc Neige from Shining Tears by MaxFactory… plus Haruhi un-boxed
As any avid anime/manga figurine collector outside of Japan does, I usually order the latest and greatest through online retailers like HLJ or Hobby Search to ensure I get the figure at release time. I will say, however, with the growing US based releases of said figures it does become tempting (and a hell of a lot more cost efficient) to order the US based releases instead; especially since they’re practically the same thing. With that being said, I have to thank the gods for places like TRSI where hapless fools like myself whom missed the initial/limited Japanese releases still have a chance at a copy months later. It only took a month of waiting but was so worth the wait. For photos and who I blame for “making” me get the figure, super rats strikes again.
Sorry if this post isn’t too coherent, writing the entry at work and the AC is broken so I have been sweating to the oldies all day now. Depending when you read this entry, it may sound grammatically better as I’ll most likely edit this later tonight when I ain’t sweating half my weight off.

Dammit you were one of the lucky ones that had their order processed at HLJ when the 2nd batch of Haruhis arrived. Mine got pushed to July >_
you are so lucky.. I haven’t got my Haruhi from HLJ, and I pre ordered only 2 days late from the pre-order start date….. I have to wait till July T_T….

sweet guy. i luv seeing that MH meer fig. figs like those make me miss collecting figs…sorta ^^. nice pick up on the blanc fig. she’s definitely my fave chick in the game….soooo much hawter than elwyn. i still love how it’s a “photoshop” of the original art. just to make it more racy (which doesn’t really fit her personality) to get the fanboy’s dollars

super rats, ah didn’t know. I thought for some reason you got the initial Japanese release. S’all good either way. BTW, you have any issue with getting Blanc in her stand? Like I can’t really put mine into her pegs without being afraid of breaking something. Right now have her semi in the pegs, but any major movements could cause a fall :_;
Zyl, wait… Stripey bought THREE Fates? Damn! That’s a monster of a figure as is, but buying three (let alone two)? Crazy! Also, thanks for the translations based on my badly photographed image.
Kitsune, good to hear about getting a Haruhi PVC; so worth it. And yes, much agree on MH’s RAH line of GS/GSD figures. I was actually tempted on getting the green dress Cagalli figure but opted out due to money issues at the time. May try to get a copy in the future if I have spare cash or it happens to go on sale….
R8, whatever works to get fanboys’ money right? Actually, funny you mention Elwyn as I just ordered her from TRSI after being impressed with the Blanc figure. Odds are I’ll have to wait a month like I did with Blanc, but can’t wait to get her (and of course, I’ll have crappy photos up when she’s in my greedy hands)!
It was a little tight getting her on the base, but if you make sure you’re applying the pressure around her feet, I don’t think it will be too bad.
