Otakon: Idea Phase III
Design is complete but I’m still deciding the font styling. See the final and failed designs after the jump.
Will be sending the design to the printers tomorrow and if everything works out, should have the t-shirts by the end of this week. I am currently getting 10 2001 American Apparel Unisex black t-shirts in XL. Design will be on the back with the front being clean as I like to keep things as simple as possible. As I do not think I’ll meet that many people that will know of “moyism”, I figure 10 t-shirts will be enough. If not, well folks should have mentioned something earlier 
Will update again once I receive the actual goods.
One of the two will be the final design. Any last second input is always welcome.
I’ll say Omni had a good 40% involvement in advising me on going with this design. Also with the comments I received previously, it seemed the whole “Church of Moyism” joke was going to be a winner no matter what. After the initial design, I was semi-thinking of just doing the initial instead, C.o.M., but doubted it would have gone over well with the Otakon staff.
Anyway, pretty much a simple design with some text that those in the know will get; pretty much the people I’m giving the shirts to anyways. And for those not in the know, my “logo” should help some while those who look on the net, will get my blog anyways if they search for “church of moyism”. A Win-win situation right? 
First design but after input from a few friends, scraped for being too wordy.
Second attempt, combining “moy”ism and Ota”kon”. Simple but mis-leading.
Fourth attempt with different font. Ugly but was hilarious just for kicks.

Ember, I should be at Otakon from Friday evening til Sunday. Saturday I plan to wear the shirt, so just look for an Asian guy wearing it. Good chance it’ll be me; otherwise I may post what panels and whatnot I’ll hopefully be at
