Otakon: Idea Phase Zero

What do you all say if I just happen to bring along to the con American Apparel t-shirts that had something along the lines of “I met moyism at Otakon 2007″ printed on them? And what if say, I give them out free to anyone who meets up with me and actually know of my online persona (i.e. this site)? If I, theoretically, do this how many would be interested?
Currently theoretically thinking around 10-20 t-shirts. T-shirt sizes, medium and large for the best average. Of course, right now this is all theoretical but…
(Seriously, I need to know from people going to Otakon if they would be interested. Or if I do this, if folks would spread the word. I don’t mind taking the hit financially but if there is not enough interest, I’m not going to bother. Last thing I need is 10+ t-shirts with “I met moyism at Otakon 2007″ printed on them laying around my room going to waste.)

Not saying I could make it out to Otakon, but I think Church of Moy would be an equally large selling point for the shirts, plus a room full of shirts like that would be a wonderful conversation starter for you I’d think — not going to voucher for the quality or content of the conversation, but still.

Awww, I’m so sad now.. that’d make my day… no, my summer, no that’s not enough either, my LIFE, at least almost
but anyways, I great Idea, indeed, and Arcueid, I know exactly what you mean, I live in Finland, so… pretty much the same… and I can kill my dreams of getting a brand-new MacBook Pro with 17″ screen, only almost 3k euros…
anyways, despite the fun of meeting neighbours at a place like this, I really cheer you up, Moy fo such a great idea, I bet not many anime/whatever -bloggers have done it this far…
One day, I’ll be handing out caps saying “desu loves me, desu”

I’ll learn how to do a jig… so I can wear one of these shirts! Haha!

Colin, LMAO. I’ll keep the whole “Church of Moyism” idea in mind when I create this Otakon one. And yea, a room full of these shirts left over *may* be a icebreaker but I have a feeling the conversation would go downhill fast.
Os, I see
Arcueid, LOL on the image. If I had more time maybe but just found out I’m under a time constraint if I want them done before Otakon. And congrats on a new screen! Pics when you get it please!
Desu, thanks. Though I’m sure others have done this, just that no one has really said anything. That or there are no fools out there that likes to randomly spend and give shiz free to random people
TA, hahaha the jig! I totally forgot about that from last year dude! That was awesome of ‘ya all from the AB.net forums. But yea, you won’t have to do a jig to get a t-shirt… unless you really wanna… ^^;;

I’m gonna be at Otakon, and I think that a T-Shirt would be hilarious. I say thumbs up. I know I lurk moar than I probably should, but I read your blog often and you’re always amusing, so I’d love to say hi at least at Ota.

Haha that is an awesome idea. I’ve always secretly dreamed of meeting someone who read anime blogs, but my dream has yet to come to fruition.
