Nana Mizuki – LIVE FIGHTER Oops?
Yes, I got it finally. Quick photo dump of everything for now plus a little extra after the jump 
So for all my moaning and complaining, somehow I got my LIVE FIGHTER discs today. It honestly does not make any sense to me since all the tracking sites were saying they were stuck in Japan and then suddenly last night, they arrived in JFK in NY. I mean, thank god I got them before the end of the year but truly strange considering EMS is 99% consistent on delivery times (for me at least).
As of writing, I’ve only watched BLUE SIDE since I would not survive watching RED SIDE without killing myself tomorrow trying to get up for work. Don’t have much to say about BLUE SIDE at the moment as I need to watch it at least once more for everything to sink in as I was just blown away at how BEAUTIFUL everything looked on Bluray! I have a few Bluray discs already but this is my first real concert one and coming off from re-watching LIVE FORMULA over the weekend, it’s like night and day in terms of quality (visually at least, I still need to pick up a cable for 5.1 sound that I’ve been lazy about). I’ll probably pop in the DVD version later to see how different the two look since they’re coming from the same source… should be enlightening if anything else.
If I have to say anything about BLUE SIDE, I pretty much agree with the guys over at NKDS. Really just good stuff all around for BLUE SIDE and damn, Meikyuu Butterfly live with Nana in that sunflower outfit… drool worthy 
I’ll have more to say once I watch RED SIDE and re-watch the two again, but for now I’ll run through the misc photos I took and the whole “Oops?” part of my post title.

IMO Nana in the “bird cage” seat was a little scary as that thing moved like crazy while she was in midair!

Before I forget, the whole “Oops?” bit is that in my desperation of maybe not getting my LIVE FIGHTER discs in time, I kind of sort of ordered another copy of all three… right before I found out my first copies were in the states. So yes, I’ll have two copies of Nana Mizuki’s LIVE FIGHTER concerts plus possibly four copies of each side concert promo posters ^^;; Odds are I’ll probably do a giveaway of the extra posters just so they don’t go to waste and if I’m really in the mood, may give away the extra copies of the LIVE FIGHTER concerts as well but we’ll see.

zenical, ’tis how HMV does it to save on shipping. Actually don’t mind much as long as they don’t get damaged which *knock on wood* I’ve been lucky about so far.
Something was wrong with my EMS too (CD that just arrived today, not Nana’s loot – I didn’t want those CD to delay my bluray), just like yours. And HMV to CDJ difference is not that much if only 3 items, I wouldn’t want Nana’s face got folded

Since you mentioned you needed to pick up a cable for the 5.1 track, aren’t you hooked up via HDMI? Unless that is you have a receiver/speaker setup that doesn’t take it.
I’m also wondering what audio tracks are available for the BD. I’m hearing it has a Dolby TrueHD track, but I need solid confirmation. And is it in 1080i or 1080p?
I also ordered from HMV and got mine via EMS on 26th December.
Yes, it has a Dolby TrueHD audio track.
As for video, I think it’s only up to 720p native, at least that’s I saw on a Bravia Full HD-capable TV, from a PS3 with a Sony HTSF2300 pass through. I went to a Sony Gallery to audition that HT system but walked away disappointed. Sound wasn’t very sharp and the bass was rather disappointing. Going for an Onkyo SR606 instead.
Forgot to add on why I was watching at 1080. “Sony Vaio FZ laptop … a HD-ready Panasonic AX200E projector connected to the laptop via a HDMI cable, at a resolution of 1920×1080.”
It should interlaced but it’s a damn sight better the 720p what I saw on that Bravia TV mentioned earlier, lot less noise in the darker scenes.
danie~, actually it’s a $50 difference when I did a quick checkout at CDJapan. Plus the folds eventually go away if framed long enough
beerman, yea my receiver is okay but doesn’t do HDMI and I never really had the need to pick up an optical cable at the time. Now with more Bluray goodness coming out, finally got off my lazy arse and ordered one. And like dodgethis said, it’s Dolby True HD 5.1 and not 100% positive of about 1080i/1080p since the PS3 will just upscale anyways (or not, just watched RED SIDE and my plasma is saying 1080i versus 1080p lol oops).
