Poverty with a Bang!
Yep, the Church of Moyism goes into poverty with a bang with a Samsung 50″ plasma 1080p TV/monitor!
But of course, there is no way I’m giving up my 37″ WestingHouse LCD either so it has now become my secondary monitor. Truly this is the most awesomest stupidest logical insane purchase thus far! I won’t say how much it cost but some Google-Fu should give folks a ballpark range of just have empty the Church of Moyism’s Bank is XD
Haven’t truly tested the new monitor yet but I’m loving what I’m seeing so far. Crazy how much detail you can see moving up 13 more inches in screen size! I will admit however, you need to be at least 2-5 feet away from the plasma to really enjoy the quality; anything else you’ll go blind and/or start to see the artifacts.
Of course, with it now being my primary monitor, I’ll be nearly blind by the end of July of ’08. Fun times indeed!

WTF!! Though I can imagine how far back you would have to be from the screen. One of our clients at work supplied us with a 35″ screen for testing their application and even then we have to be pretty far back else we’d be blind. Though for 50″, I think 2-5 feet is still a little too close.

Nice, I use the ln-t4053h 40inch LED samsung for my tv/monitor/ps3 in my little room. My tv recommends 6-8feet distance for best viewing, 2-5 is overkill on the eyes haha. I prefer the LED for viewing because of it’s brightness.
I see the Uzu-Maki cover in the big monitor. Is that your media player? Something related to the desktop wallpaper?
