Minori Chihara – Message 02

First thing I have to say about Minori Chihara’s Message 02 DVD? It’s DAMN LONG! 2 DVDs clocking in for a total of roughly 3.5 hours of non-stop Minorin goodness will drive one nuts if they’re not prepared!

On the content of the discs, it’s all good IMHO. First disc has Minorin’s more recent PVs including the usual “making of” behind the scenes. For the rabid fans, beside the “making of” parts, I guess the two unplugged sessions/songs were the real gems? BTW, the last “making of” was probably the hilarious especially towards the end

And the second disc… over 2 hours of behind the scenes and shaky/crappy cam of various Minorin events non-Japanese folks get to see for the first time. Starting from her i melody concert in 2007, the disc goes through the majority of her 2008 events (1st live tour, animelo, 2nd album, etc) with various interviews of her staff, band members, and family friends. I couldn’t even begin to try to describe everything that was shown on the disc but least to say, it’s definitely worth watching from start to finish.

Sorry if my quick and very vague review didn’t really say much about Message 02 but even now, after watching it over 24 hours ago, I’m still trying to process everything I saw ^^;; To make up for my crappy review, after the jump you’ll find some quick (crappy) scans of the DVD cover and booklet.
