Nana-chan Blogger Party

1/19/2009

So this past weekend I had the “honor” of hosting a small get together with a few bloggers whom were interested in watching Nana Mizuki’s LIVE FIGHTER concert (Bluray of course). Far from calling it the gathering of great minds, it was pretty lazed back chilling with Omo and Hisui as we ate, drank, watched Nana-chan, and BS about anime and life.

Honestly nothing epic happened although I think Omo and I got Hisui a little interested in Nana-chan or at least checking out seiyuu related concerts. I do admit starting with LIVE FIGHTER probably isn’t the way to go (3 hours each concert side) but it seemed everyone enjoyed just chilling with like minded folk. Plus the two got to see the “biggest TGIF” ever (at least on the outside) only to be disappointed at how normal it was once we were inside (told them not to get their hopes up).

The time spent with the two seem like a blur (we did spend the majority of the time watching something) but it was fun, plain and simple. And really, it’s always nice to meet and chill with people with the same interest as you outside the normal venues (i.e. cons) when time allows. And for those two, they got the added bonus of seeing what another anime fan’s room looks like in person (they even took photos as well) ^^;;

    Thanks for having me over. You were a super awesome host. I had an awesome time. Nana Mizuki is pretty talented and her concert had that level of spectacle that I expect from j-pop.

    You also can’t forget Sun Red. That is some good stuff.

    I mostly took pictures for Narutaki who could not attend but wanted to. He is without a doubt the bigger J-music fan than I am. I would most probably not take a bullet for Gackt like he would.

    Omo, yep and thanks for driving and the beer! I actually haven’t tried that brand yet and it goes down a lot better than the usual/darker brews I kill myself with ^^;;

    totali, LMAO I knew that comment was gonna come and bite me in the arse!

    Hisui, glad you enjoyed everything. And yes, Sun Red is awesome! And LOL guess I got to meet Narutaki sometime in the future if he’s willing to take one for Gackt O_o

    Mei, it already started…?

  6. [...] Japanese. The concert didn’t turn me into a Ota-gei but I enjoyed it. I would like to thank Moy for letting me come over to his house and see the concert on his totally sweet set up. He is going to be running a contest [...]
