Windows 7 Reboot
Just for the fun of it, plus since I installed a new hard drive, I upgraded my main system to Windows 7 RC. Overall the process was pretty painless and while it’s taking a bit of time getting used to some features of the new OS, Windows 7 is looking good in my books. And for those that have multiple screens and use programs like Display Fusion to get customized wallpapers on each monitor, it seems Windows 7 finally fixed that transparent bar issue that showed the wrong image! ^_^
Of course, with rebuilding the system comes new wallpaper(s) and boy, I keep forgetting how much of a pain it is to do since I’m picky! I eventually settled for a simple Minori Chihara one and two anime related ones (which I haven’t done in a long time), which look alright. Quick screenshot below if one wants to see what my full desktop layout looks like. And yes, I realize this will probably be the one time in my life I actually have a trap as part of my wallpapers but gosh darn it, no one needs to know right?!
And just an FYI, it really stinks that it is basically impossible to find good quality seiyuu wallpapers; every one I had in the past were resized scans. This must change… or at least I need better/more seiyuu scans to work with!

aisteh, thanks for the link but I usually don’t change wallpapers *too* much. It’s just when I do, it’s sometimes more of a hassle than it’s worth ^^;;
I´ve been on Win7 RC for a while now and overall I really like it. It works faster and better than Vista ever did. Even managed to grab some drivers without any problem at all.
Which is really good.
That you can place the menubar at any screen effortless is a nice plus as well.
Having multiple wallpapers was my only problem as I didn´t find any good program to handle each monitor. But now it seems I can start agonizing over what wallpaper I should use for each monitor…

I´m not much for Minami-ke but Xeti(that was her name right?) is always welcome in my book. Not much for 3d girls at this moment but I imagine it´s a hassle to find good ones.
